This all sounds good and makes great radio. However, it presumes that the Republicans are automatically the answer, when we all know they are not. Without saying it, this promotes the "lesser of two evils". Well, the lesser of two evils are STILL EVIL! The biggest difference between Democrats and Republicans is with the Democrats we know where each and everyone of them is taking our Country. Republicans though, are wolves in sheeps clothing most of the time.

Like the tortoise and the hare, both major Parties are taking us in the same direction, just at a different speed. The Harocrats run like crazy to Socialism until they get distracted(see Bill Clinton); then the Tortocans come in and plod along ever so slowly that we don't realize they are actually still running in the same direction trying to cross the SAME finish line. When America grows tired of what seemingly is no progress, we bring back the Harocrats to speed the movement up.

If you want real change then maybe we need 2 or 6 more years of Obama so we reach a point of REAL outrage against ALL of Washington. Maybe then...MAYBE then...we'll be fed up enough to get some true Patriots to put their hat in the ring, we'll vote out all the Socialists and One Worlders and we can wrestle our Republic back from them so that our children and grandchildren can enjoy the Liberty that we have squandered for ourselves!!!

As much as I believe both parties are corrupt and voting for the better of two evils is not the best thing in the world. I would still vote the lesser of two evils because, there is nothing the Obama admin. would love more is for people to vote for a third party....Do you remember what voting for a third party did for Clinton, it brought 3 more years of Clinton...a third party as much as I believe in the Libertian Party it gives Obama Party more power....Obama has Destroyed this country is a short time. Imagine what he could do if he had an additional 4 years. No I think we have to clean house ,one at a time and let them know they will lose their job if they don't listen to the people.

No, the Republican Party will not save us. Only we, the people, can get us out of this mess. There is one thing to consider. The Party (any of the 53 of them) positions will be a summation of the positions of the members of the party. It therefor follows, as we have already seen, that when those of us who can, do join the party, any party, and be as active in that party as we are in our Pinellas Patriot (or other) group, then we, these people, will begin to move the party towards our core beliefs. With large numbers of new and conservative members the momentum can, and already has, shifted. We can make a difference. Hence, we need not say that the Republican Party or the Democrat Party is EVIL. We need not say that Republicans or Democrats are EVIL. Only that we have not participated at a level which would keep these groups on track.

I submit that most members of this group (most, not all) had not been politically active prior to a couple years ago. That influence on party momentum therefor would have been missing. I had been a member of my party for many years but had not seen the slow creep that is now so obvious because I had believed, erroneously, that I was already involved. I was there but not making a difference. I deferred to those with more experience. That time has passed.

Finally, I mention Democrats above for one reason. Someone recently pointed out to me that one should not have to be conservative to believe in the constitution. It rang true. It may not be commonplace, but it is true.

So, let us not be distracted and not blinded by what is a truly righteous and deserved emotional response to our situation. Let us take that energy and put it into action. Let us use the existing party system (any party) but redefine the rules so that when we go to the party meeting our voices, our positions, and our logic are heard louder than our anger.

We need that courage, serenity, and wisdom that can only come from above. I fear we cannot find the wisdom until we find the serenity.

That is why we need our own party. I know the 3rd party problem but the Republican party is still a mess and the old liners are entrenched. We need to build the Tea Party into a powerful organization that will overtake both Repub and Dems. Let us take over the nation and take our country back. The group in DC this weekend should prove that we have the ability to do it!

I agree with Tom. A slow "infiltration" if-you-will, into the Republican party of true conservatives, honest people, humble people and people of great character who cannot and will not compromise their integrity and core principles is what is needed. This will take time. This will take patience. This will take persistence and commitment. The corruption and cronyism within the Republican Party has been allowed to fester for decades because we, "common, average citizens" believed in the system. We incorrectly believed what campaigning politicians said during their stump speeches. Once we elected them, we stopped watching them. We had faith that our leaders were honest and had our best interest at heart because they are a reflection of us. And if they are truly a reflection of us then we expect them to be honest, moral and humble because we, average Americans are honest, moral and humble.

But here is the most important element that Tom touched upon which I am about to expand that can never be forgotten or underestimated.

It is my true belief that you can elect whomever you wish, from any party you wish for any office in this land. A particular politician can promise great things and truly wish to make those things happen. However, without politicians and average citizens alike, involving God in daily life, asking for His divine intervention and guidance in all decisions, then the forces of corruption, compromise and degradation will ultimately consume this nation.

Make your individual choice of parties, make your individual choice of candidates. But always make the choice of keeping God in those decisions.

This is the kind of PATRIOTS WE NEED! Someone w/this young men's COJONES!!!! This is my kind of guy!!! WE HAVE BECOME A "COMPLAISANT BUNCH OF COWARDS"AFRAID 2 SPEAK UP!!!!

This is just a posting of my own personal thoughts on our entire movement. Many years ago I was
involved in politics in Philadelphia both with the Ds and the Rs. No doubt, the R's were better. But
as far as both parties being on the same path, only at different speeds, I'd like to point out that if
our movement achieves it's goals, ALL candidates will have to come closer to the values we hold
dear. Things are looking up as far as I can see. The only bump in the road is that nasty mainstream
media. But in time, they'll have to come around. I guess I'm the eternal optimist.
