How I met Ms Jane Chapin: On the 16th of March, out of sheer frustration, I made a decision to sit in front of the Federal Courthouse in Tampa in protest of the pending federal health care bill. I vowed to remain there until the bill was passed or defeated. I did this because I felt as if there was simply nothing left to do that I had not already done...many times over the prior nine months. That first evening, several fellow patriots joined me. One nice man, Roger, stayed quite a while and said his wife, Jane, would come come by around midnight to keep me company. Jane did come by, along with Karena and her little ones, and with "Lady" (a BIG dog) in tow. Jane and I had never met before that night. Jane, Karena and I talked into the wee hours of the morning, feeling very safe with "Lady" by our side. On Wednesday afternoon, a camper pulled up on the next corner. Jane and Roger had selflessly donated their camper to provide a place to get out of the cold. This camper became a home away from home for so many of us and I will be forever in debt to Jane for her thoughtfulness. Jane is a very talented artist. She is working on a book of paintings from every state in the country along with an American Hero from each state. Her book, Land of the Free, will benefit the Special Operations Warrior Foundation. Jane is truly an American Patriot! We are proud she is a member of Pinellas Patriots! You can see Janes "Land of the Free" works of art here: http://janechapin.com...
