Deem and Pass Another Way to Pass HC

Pelosi must think we are a bunch of idiots. If she can't get the votes in the House to pass the Senate bill, she will do the Slaughter Rule or what they are calling "Deem and pass". This is where the House votes on the Rule that will allow the Senate HC Bill to be considered "passed". Pelosi keeps saying this way the House members are not voting to pass the Senate bill, and can then tell their constiiuents that they did not vote on the HC bill. Well, if they vote on the Rule that will allow "Deem and Pass" they are voting to pass the Healthcare bill because that is what that Rule says will happen, and she thinks we won't realize it. The arrogance of these people.
They also forget the part of the Constitution that states: Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators or Representatives, and Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States. |
