Hello all, Linda and I feel that this weeks Health care Funeral Procession went very well, no shopping centers, going over to the beach side was nice we saw a lot of positive from the people we went past, and enjoyed some good conversation at the lube afterwords over all it was a very enjoyable few hours.
With one exception it could not have been better..... So here goes..... I would love to see us be able to have a real show of force. With 287 members I would love to see us get 60-or 70 cars to show up once in awhile. Think about that, how could local or state government ignore the commotion that would cause. Newspaper coverage maybe even t.v. news are some of the possibilities. Linda and I know how hard it is to make it all of the time we missed weeks due to the holidays a wedding and kids birthdays. We both work 50-70 hours a week and I am out of town all week and Saturday is our one day off together so I'm sure we will miss more. But we feel the need to get out and take a stand against our corrupt government and I know that many of you feel the same, you have told me so. So.... with that said,I ask everyone to remember why we got involved in the first place and lets make a show of force. I look forward to seeing all of the familiar faces and meeting new ones Ed P.S. And a great big thanks to all of you who show up all of the time and to those of you who are able to show up to the events during the work week when a lot of us can't attend. God Bless you all |

To Ed and Linda - a very big "Thank You". Not just for what you wrote, but for your constant participation.
Believe me, we know it is difficult at times. We only ask that members do what they can. Unfortunately, so many have signed on for this battle, but we've never met them. I was hoping for 35 vehicles this SUNDAY but your hope of 60 -70 vehicles - well, I just can't imagine. You're right - we certainly would cause a commotion! We all need to take a stand - RIGHT NOW. This is the time. There has never been a more critical time. We can do this. If we fail, it will only be because of the current Administration's ability to do everything inappropriate it can to get what they want. I, like a lot of people, need to feel that no matter the outcome, I have done all I could do. When you have no more to give - when you are exhausted - then you can stand proud. So, if any member reads these posts, has the time to join us this SUNDAY but chooses not to, then shame on them. For the rest of us - let's roll!! |

Ed and Linda participate in the caravan every week they can. It's so nice to drive up and see them busy decorating their truck. They have only one day per week that they can spend together and we are so grateful that they take a few hours out of that time to stand up against this gargantuan government train. They are true patriots and we are fortunate to have them on board! Don't be one of the ones that wakes up one morning to find that DC is in control of our health care and you meant to do something to stave it off, but waited too long! If not now....when?
