Community Bible Baptist Church in Partnership with Pinellas Patriots, is please to announce the Honor Our Heroes Celebration. During this celebration, awards will be presented to first responder personnel , members of our military, and community volunteers, in recognition of their unselfish call to duty and service to their community. As the Guest of Honor, Attorney General Bill McCollum will be present to accept the Public Servant Award in appreciation of his military service and his efforts on behalf of the citizens of the State of Florida.
Some of the dignitaries who will be attending;
St. Petersburg Mayor, Bill Foster, Pinellas County Sheriff Jim Coates and the family of U.S. Marine Lance Corporal Kevin Gachau Waruinge. Lance Corporal Waruinge will be honored posthumously for giving his "full measure" to protect the freedoms of our nation.

Kristina GAssistant Organizer+1 guestHonor Our Heroes was a very moving celebration. Pastor Stancil and the members of Community Bible Baptist Church did a beautiful job. It was so heartwarming to hear our elected officials speak fearlessly about their faith in God. Attorney General Bill McCollum spoke from his heart and because he did, you knew without any doubt, that he is a man of faith, a man of God and a man of great character. I think everyone in attendance shed a tear at one point or another. St Petersburg Mayor Bill Foster, announced a Proclamation that September 5th would be Honor Our Heroes Day in the city of St. Petersburg. What a great honor!! I wouldn't have missed this celebration for the world!! And thanks to all those Pinellas Patriots who attended.
