The 2010 March on DC

Once again Americans from every corner of the nation will unite on Capitol Hill for a nonpartisan March & Rally! Let's make it 3 Million Patriots this year!

While few can logically deny that the September 12th 2009 “Taxpayers March on DC” was a huge success, organizers for the 2010 event are redesigning the format, planning early and this year they promise to deliver a message to Washington DC that both houses of Congress and the Administration, Democrat, Republican or Independent, will not be able to ignore.

We the people are taking our country back, one seat at a time. Republicans, Democrats and Independents will stand united to make one very clear statement. “Change your ways or get out of our house.” If our representatives choose to continue to conduct business as usual, we the people will conduct our business. Working tirelessly to see they are voted out of office in November.

This year there will be no doubt this is a “We the People, For the People, By the People” event. Not one dime will be accepted from corporate sponsors, PAC’s, political parties or political organizations.

The speakers for the 2010 event will consist primarily of everyday American citizens without regard to their political party. The message will be one of Unity, Government Reform, the Constitution as well as the upcoming November elections.

Four Day Agenda:

Thursday~September 9

11:00am - 8:00pm - The First Annual, “Unite in Action” Liberty Exposition

9:00am - 5:00pm - Meetings, conferences, training, etc. Held at Host Hotel Properties as well as other predetermined locations.

8:00am - 10:00pm - Entertainment will be provided at Host Hotels Properties. Attendees will have the opportunity to relax & socialize.

Friday~September 10

9:00am - 6:00pm - The First Annual, “Unite in Action” Liberty Exposition. (Extended hours for attendees arriving into town that afternoon or evening.)

9:00am - 5:00pm - Meetings, Conferences, Training, etc. Held at Host Hotel Properties as well as other predetermined locations.

12:00pm - 8:00pm - Sign making parties will be held at several Host Hotel Properties.

6:00pm - 8:00pm - Meet and Greet Events will be held in special meeting rooms at each Host Hotel Property.

8:00pm - 10:00pm - Entertainment will be provided at Host Hotels. Attendees will have the opportunity to relax, socialize and have a good time.

8:00pm - 10:00pm - Benefit Concerts - Various locations, including Host Hotel Properties as well as other venues.

Saturday~September 11

7:00am - 9:00am - The 9/11 Memorial Services. Special Guest Speakers: Family members of the Fallen Victims, First Responders including; Fire Departments and Fire Rescue, Members of the NYC Police Department, Search and Rescue Personnel, etc.

10:00am - 11:00am - Marchers will assemble at the mall area in front of the Capitol Building.

11:00am to 1:00pm - The “Unite in Action” March on DC will begin. Marchers will proceed eastbound on Pennsylvania Avenue and will intersect with Constitution Avenue. Marchers will proceed down Constitution Avenue, filling up all 8 lanes. The March on DC will end at the Washington Monument Grounds approximately 1.25 miles away.

1:00pm to 5:00 pm – The “Unite in Action” Washington DC Rally. The Main Event will feature a wide variety of Speakers and Entertainers. Videos and Music will be provided as well.

Sunday~September 12

10 AM – Non-Denominational Service at Washington Memorial

12 PM – March begins at Freedom Plaza going down Pennsylvania Ave. to Capitol

2 PM – Rally at Capitol – Speakers: Ana Puig (Kitchen Table Patriots), Matt Kibble (Freedomworks.org President & CEO) and Erick Erikson (RedState.com)
