Popcorn & Movie Fundraiser/Get Acquainted

Save America Foundation Offices (map)

Selected By: Marie

How about grabbing your favorite guy or girl and joining us for a little Pop, Popcorn and a Movie.

This is a documentary film that follows the struggles of several grassroots individuals and their transformation from home town rally goers and organizers to National Activists in the 9/12 March on Washington. The film reveals what is at the heart of this nationwide surge of civic engagement - a return to and respect for a constitutionally limited government, personal responsibility and fiscal restraint at the Federal level.

At intermission, we'll have fresh (as opposed to stale) popcorn, pop, iced tea and a sweet treat or two. You will also have an opportunity to mingle and get to know one another. We ask for a donation of $8.00 per person (and you can have as much popcorn as you want).

Please consider joining us for this event. Pinellas Patriots, like all the 9.12 Organizations, needs funds for meeting room rentals, advertising, printing, etc. However, we don't like to ask for it.
So, this is a fun way to raise a few dollars and we all spend an evening enjoying the camaraderie and let's not forget - the popcorn.

Please RSVP for this event. Your donation will be accepted at the door. Hope to see you there!

Thank you to all the wonderful members who helped to make this an incredibly enjoyable evening. Great movie - great people. To the new members, we thank you for coming out so that we could put a face to the name. I'm always amazed at how lucky we are to have such fantastic Patriots join in this group. Hope you enjoyed as much as I did and we will do this again soon.

Great "Saturday Night at the Movies!" I think it went VERY well! This evening was to enjoy the company of fellow members, sit back and be entertained and inspired, which we were. There are general meetings, candidate research committees etc to plan the future of our patriot groupe don't . Hope we see more attending! We don't get an intermission at the theater, so the lack of one here wasn't "intolerable." In starting the movie at 7:30 I really enjoyed mingling from 7:00 until then and afterwards. Thank you, fellow patriots, for joining in on the fun and a HUGE thank you to Carmen, Jonathan & Marie for everything you did to make the evening such a success!

I liked the meeting very much. I do think a break in the middle would have been better. But I know that playing the movie all the way through wasn't your intent. When you tell people where you are, tell them you are in the building between the Social Security and Quaker State. Then we would have saved some time, gas and frustration finding you! For future meetings I would like to see more 'mingling time'. I would like to hear what plans are in place for the future for the Pineallas Patriots. Over all, very inspiring. I would like to see 'womens cut' t-shirts. I know the 'everybody type' is unisex, but some women like the 'womens cut' better. The big ones don't look very good on me. How about polos with a small logo on the upper front? Excellet meeting ~ looking forward to another. If everyone saw this movie we would get 100% participation by our members. It was that inspiring!

This event was great -- thanks so much to Marie, Carmen, and as always, our hero Kathy, who even appeared in the documentary! The Teaparty movie is a must-see for all patriots, very inspiring and uplifting. For those of us who were unable to attend the 9/12/09 rally, this documentary really brings the event alive. It's one thing to see the still pictures, quite another to see footage of the March in action. I highly recommend this movie and can't wait for the next one!

It was a good opportunity to attend my first meeting and get to know some people. Kudos to all the hard work of the organizers. The documentry was inspiring. All those peopel giving up their time and money for ALL of us. The march with those ordinary Americans should be shown where ever it can be." Marches not Marxists".
