It is time to gather and wave our flags in honor of this country. We have a very exciting agenda for the 28th. The event starts at 4 pm and goes till 6 pm. We are setting up around 3pm if you happen to get here early. Candidates are asked to get here and set up tables early. They can display any literature and they will stay and go to their tables after they speak so that anyone that is interested can go to their tables.

Speakers are here to answer our questions and let us get to know them. Even if the candidate is not in your district their answers can help you know what you like or dislike in a candidate. Most candidates need help with phone calls and if you feel they are good, help them even if they are not in your district. We are working on a check sheet to evaluate how they respond to question. After the event we would love to have your feedback. Tea Party Manatee has not endorsed candidates yet. Candidates contacted us if they wanted to speak. We are interested in how they would represent our belief in the Constitution and limited government. We believe that making everyone aware of the candidates and their stance on issues will give you the information you need to make your choices. We look forward to having more events for other speakers to join us.

Great News We are going to have Jenny Beth Martin speak to us. She is the Chairman of the Tea Party Patriots in Atlanta. She spoke at the National Tea Party convention and I believe she was on the Tea Party Movie that many of us just viewed last week.
