Pinellas County Republican Executive Committee~Congressman Bill Young

The PCREC is the Pinellas County Republican Executive Committee. The guest speaker this month will be Congressman Bill Young.

The PCREC is the active grass roots of the Republican Party here in Pinellas. This is where you can meet and hear your candidates speak and make sound decisions at the polls. This is where you actively become involved in the nationwide effort to put the candidates YOU want in office on the local, state AND federal level. You are not required to join the committee, but it is highly recommended. Think Precinct Strategy!

All meetings are open to the public and everyone is welcome. There are some requirements to join, but by joining, you guarantee your voice will be heard. You can check with membership at the meeting if you are interested or contact Eileen for further information.

Please attend!

Very good event. JJ gave an inspiring talk and we had a chance to meet and greet our elected officials.

    Kathy,

The negative comments are not directed at you or our fellow 912 people it is directed at people like JJ and his staff of idiots.

There are those in the room who share our opinions and values. Think of this party as a barn that needs repair. As all of us gather round, we can pick up a hammer and knock it down, or put it back together. If we knock it down, we have to build a new one or cede the land to the liberals. If you looked around the room, there are more and more of us each time and soon we will be able to repair it like it was ~ with the constitution of the Republic as its foundation. Don't give up, pitch in.

The REC will not be about money (Bill Young paid off the REC with $40,000). It's about what is right! The liberals, progressives and Rinos are going to be "left out" soon. The Conservative constitutionalist will lead the "right way" soon. I have voted Republican since 1969. I'm not going to let the progressive republicans or RINOS take over our party anymore. I'm voting for the "right" people for the "right" time, like Eric Forcade & Dawn Thompson. My motto: "Righting the Right" What's yours?

I want to personally thank you for all of the advice, encouragement and assistance that you have provided this past few months to As A Mom. There are many people that unfortunately have no understanding about how much this battle has taken over some of our lives. I will continue to fight this fight with you and the organizers of this group until we take our country back from the progressives -

This meeting was a gloryfest to Bill Young. It was the second time that Eric Forcade got snubbed and not mentioned. This can not be a mistake, but a deliberate act to make him appear to be insignificant against the might and oh so fantastic (thanks for the $40K Bill) Mr Young. I will be doing everything in my power to try and get Eric on the ballot, with or without the Republican Partys' help, which will obviously not be coming as Eric is not in the old crony network.

God help this Party, because the leaders obviously do not understand what is going on in this Country today. There are an awful lot of ordinary folk out there, in the Tea Parties and other Conservative and Constitutional groups, that are very angry at the dealings and the corruption that the GOP seems to think is OK. The biggest mistake they can make is think that all Conservatives like me, will automatically just

vote the Republican Ticket like we used to. We will not. We are looking for the best, untainted, Constitutional Candidates, who will do the work of the people.

And to Barclay, if the people running that republican meeting had had their way, you would not have met the one Candidate who would make an awesome representative of the people, Eric Forcade, as he is standing against that huge ($40K) donor to the Party. Flip the House 2010. It cannot come soon enough for me and many other Patriots.

I am one of the staff of idiots that you Deb or Tony refer to so fondly. By your comments I can see how experienced you are in the 2 party systems in this country. How do you think a party headquarters stay open? They have expenses you know like rent, elec, and don't forget water and sewer you know all of us volunteers that have busting our butts for decades out there have to go to the toilet sometime. If you find that the PCREC meeting is that irritating then don?t go!

I never called you or any of the volunteers idiots. I understand the 2 party system. I also spend about 40 hours a week as a volunteer, as well as do a full time stressful job. In accordance with my 1st Amendment rights, I wanted to say, that all Candidates should be on a level playing field, even if they cannot donate huge sums of money. God bless you and the work you do.

Let's straighten this out right now. Deb or Tony did not refer to any staff or call anybody any names in the comment on the meet up. All we did was describe what happened at the meeting, and how Eric Forcade was not even mentioned again by the committee. Please Do Not put words in my mouth that I did not say. If you want to dispute my comment on what happened go ahead, but don't say I said something I didn't.

We are all volunteers, and as Tom said we are trying to rebuild the party, and it is our obligation to point out what is wrong so we can fix it. I suggest everyone reads all the posts, because what iI am reading, most of us are saying the same thing.

LET ME CLEAR THIS UP NOW, any negative comments were directed at the PCREC! NOT PINELLAS PATRIOTS. We love you guys, we as North, South, Pinellas Patriots and Patriots' Ink must set aside Ego's and fight the progressives of both parties!

The comments were based at JJ and his crew, not Pinellas Patriots or any 912 group. If my comments offend someone based on them being directed at JJ and the PCREC so be it!

OK, everyone. I think we, for the most part, agree more than disagree. We are all in this together. Let's all settle down. Let's keep the battle where it belongs - and not with each other.

Hi Marie, it is not the intention of us to fight among any of the Patriot Groups, who ever they may be, but to highlight, when ever we can, when we see an injustice, as is our right, in the GOP. They need to know we understand their game...and it is UP! OVER! FINISHED! The days of the old boy network and large money changing hands for favors is coming to an end.

Please be mindful of anything you post. Anyone CAN and DOES read our posts. DNC, news outlets, Union Organizers, RNC, potential members and those that are just waiting for us to make a miss-step and use it to "muddy-up" our progress. We do not want a reputation of bickering or to appear that we are not of one mind. Remember, we are Patriots. And as such, we already know that we are not going to get a "fair shake". And that "reality" is what makes us work harder. Please ignore negative posts.

Who ever reads these posts will not stop true Patriots recognizing what is wrong with the Party. Does not make us bad people, just citizens who are tired of BOTH parties lying and spending and cheating and ignoring the will of the People of this great Country. They are not negative comments and should be looked at as very positive comments, because we have a direction and the ability and knowledge to make changes...through the ballot box in 2010 and 2012.

When you look for perfection, your expectations will always fall short. I have noticed there are some people that attend these meetings and write comments on just how disappointed they are with the outcome. I'm very sorry that you feel you must leave a bad rating for the efforts that Pinellas Patriots puts into running this group. If you have a problem with the PCREC, than maybe you should pen a letter directly to them. There are many people in this group that work very hard to post activities, post events, provide information and try to make sure that there are enough events going that almost everyone can find something that interests them. This, being an all volunteer effort, certainly does not warrant the disgruntled dissatisfaction of some.
