We are pleased to announce Rebecca O'Dell as our Guest Speaker in the First of Two Constitution in Crisis presentations!
Ms O'Dell explains the Constitution and the role of each branch to help everyday Patriots regain control of their government. Her presentations receive an overwhelmingly positive response as she offers a message of enlightenment and empowerment.
Rebecca is a native of St Petersburg and a practicing US Supreme Court attorney. She graduated from Eckerd College with Honors in Pre-med Biology and graduated First in her entering class at Stetson University College of Law.
She travels the country extensively and does not charge a speaking fee; however, contributions are welcome to help defray her travel costs. Please, let's show her that her efforts are deeply appreciated! She also sells a variety of books on Constitutional education and they will be available for purchase after the meeting.
After Ms O'Dell answers some of your questions, we will address our Pinellas Patriots monthly business. Please feel free to email any of the organizers to suggest any items that you would like to see on the agenda. We will try to accommodate all requests based on time available.
If you plan on dining before the meeting, please arrive no later than 6:00 PM. If you will not be dining, please arrive no later than 7:00 PM. This will eliminate any distractions during the meeting. Our Guest Speaker will be introduced promptly at 7:00 PM. By starting promptly at 7:00 PM we should conclude no later than 8:45 PM.
Please make every effort to attend. This is the reason we are all here and every voice counts!
Attention New Members! We have a welcome package for those that attend!
In order to help offset the costs of events, Pocket Constitutions, printing, room rentals, etc., Pinellas Patriots will be accepting a $2.00 donation at the door. THIS IS NOT MANDATORY.
I have a question for her as well. I have read what the Constitution has to say about the Census. Based on my interpretation of it, I am pretty sure we are only required to answer question #1. But then, I am not a Constitutional Lawyer. I don't know how "race" would play a part in the Census, if we are all created equal...
I can trace my family to Spain ~ 900 hundred years ago! Am I hispanic? If I go further, I could be something else. If I go back fewer years, I am something else again. Who am I?
Census gets on my LAST NERVE PRETTY BAD. IT's all DIRTY POLITICS. It's not going 2 benefit AMERICAN CITIZENS. i agree w/Tom i don't know who i really im. i had full blown SPANIARD BLOOD in me. ALSO HAD INDIANS that the Spaniards exterminated! also had Blks brought into Cuba just like the USA. Lots of Jamaican, Chinese & Jews. So i'm i all of these? EXCEPT i was born in Cuba. i have IDENTIFIED MYSELF AS AN AMERICAN,BECAUSE i LOVE THE FEELING THAT iM STILL FREE AND THIS NATION GAVE THAT TO ME!
We thoroughly enjoyed our first meeting of the Pinellas Patriots. Ms. O'Dell was terrific and it was great to learn more about our Constitution as well as to hear from other attendees. Look forward to the next meeting and joining in on some of the activities as well. We've got lots of notes and cards to pass out to other friends.

I recall one message asking for questions for Ms. O'Dell. Here are a couple I'd like answered: What is the Constitution's Commerce Clause and the supposed authority it gives Congress to regulate interstate commerce. How does it apply to the Health Care Bill? What is in the Supremecy Clause that allows federal laws to trump state statutes? Explain how the 10th Amendment to the Constitution limits Congress and its actions.
