PLEASE NOTE: IF WE PURCHASE $50 IN FOOD WE DO NOT PAY FOR THE ROOM. IF YOU WANT TO EAT, AND IF IT IS POSSIBLE WITH YOUR SCHEDULE YOU CAN ARRIVE AT 6:30-6:45 TO ORDER YOUR FOOD. IF YOU CANNOT GET THERE UNTIL 7:00 IT IS NO PROBLEM AND YOU CAN STILL ORDER FOOD WHEN YOU ARRIVE.

If you have a LAPTOP, feel free to bring it. This location has free wireless Internet access. We will be showing our online database, and some really useful websites you should know about.

We will be VOTING on a few important issues, such as which questions we wish to include on the vetting questionnaire we send to candidates, whether or not we will have candidates sign pledges, etc.

We will be handing out our vetting committee BOOKLET, full of useful information such as district maps, important websites, candidate database reports, etc.

We have a lot to cover, but we will try to stay on topic, keep the group focused, and have everyone out in a timely manner.

About:

The Pinellas Patriots Vetting Committee has been working on gathering information on all candidates for all elections in 2010 in Pinellas County. We are already in contact with many people running, have personally met with some of them, and we have a plan to have all of them speak to all of our members in upcoming "Meet the Candidate" forums.

We have a LOT of information to share with everyone. We are still pulling it all together. Please feel free to add to the information gathering process!

If you are interested in learning more about the candidates running in your district, would like to be informed of their campaigning activities, or just want to come for the free popcorn, we encourage all of our members to attend this meeting! We will be having these on a regular basis, from now until the November elections.
