A company called "Equip 2 Conceal Firearms Group", one of the foremost Firearms Safety/Training organizations in Florida and Colorado, has agreed to work with us on a Level 1 Firearm Safety Course. They have been featured on all MSM stations as well as FOX News. This will meet all the requirements needed for you to apply for your Florida Concealed Carry Permit. You must PRE-REGISTER BY PHONE - 727-7 7 3-5 0 6 0 - and the cost is $70.00 per person. You may invite friends, family, etc. to join in this event. This is a very special price being made available to us and we encourage all to participate if you don't yet have your permit. The package Equip 2 Conceal Firearms Group has put together for us includes: [b]Application Packet, Notary Fees, Photographs, Firearm Rental, Ammunition, 2[/b] [b]hour Classroom activity and your Firearms Safety Certificate.[/b] There is an additional $15.00 fee for the Shooting Range where they will take us after the class. They will also offer us information on where to purchase firearms at their discounted prices and will walk us through the process of obtaining the actual Concealed Weapons Permit in Florida. The course will start at the Elks Lodge in Dunedin, followed by Bill Jacksons Shooting Range in Pinellas Park. If you already own your own firearm, you may bring it with you but cannot use it until they inspect and clear it for use. When you call to Pre-Register, please tell them you are calling for the Pinellas Patriots special event to be guaranteed the $70.00 fee. Please DO NOT RSVP this event on our calendar until you have Pre-Registered. We cannot accept a "Maybe" for this event. It must be a "YES" or a "NO". Also, please bring your Driver's License/Photo ID. We are very excited about this event and encourage any and all who have thought about stepping up and owning a firearm to join us.
